Instagram Post Size — What Works Best in 2026

The 4:5 portrait format (1080 × 1350 px) consistently gets the best reach because it takes up the most vertical space in the feed — giving you more screen real estate before a user scrolls past. If you're only going to use one format, make it portrait.
