When you drop an image onto PixlFits, your browser reads the file locally, draws it onto a canvas element, resizes it using GPU-accelerated browser APIs, and lets you download the result — all without any network request containing your image data.

You can verify this yourself: Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12) → Network tab → Filter by "img" → Drop an image on PixlFits. You'll see zero outbound requests containing your image. The only network calls are loading the page itself and fonts.
